Millaroo State School
Go west they cry and find the glory! Take a scenic 70 kilometre south-west drive from Ayr, North Queensland, ease on down a pace or two and settle into country living. Look around the peaceful setting and a hidden gem is tucked away amongst bush and canefields, nestling just above the mighty Burdekin River you will find Millaroo State School. We are a proud band 5 school servicing the rural townships of Millaroo and Dalbeg and the surrounding areas.
Look closely and you will see Millaroo marvels - every day students you would think are super heroes in disguise, because they maintain pride, match respect, make responsible choices and manage their safety as they go about their business of becoming socially and globally responsible citizens who aim high to achieve success. The school is supported by an active Parents and Citizens Association to create positive, constructive, artistic, cultural, academic and sporting learning opportunities for every student.
Millaroo is once again excited in being able to offer Kindy to our young members of the community. Kindy is conducted 5 days a fortnight. Tuesdays and Wednesdays odd weeks and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays even weeks.
